WHAT IS IT?
Food, fun & fashions from the past. An event for women to benefit women.
WHY?
It’s a chance to finally wear that wedding dress, prom dress, bridesmaid dress, or any old thing that’s been taking up residence in your closet, and also a unique opportunity to support a great cause with a bunch of great women.
WHO DOES IT BENEFIT?
Every year, The Moth Ball benefits a local nonprofit that serves women and families in the Greater Chattanooga area. The 2026 beneficiary is Downside Up.

WHERE IS IT?
The 2026 Moth Ball® by CityScope® will be hosted at the First Horizon Pavilion. More space, more seating, no lines, easier parking, the list goes on!
GOOD FUN FOR A GREAT CAUSE
In 2026, all proceeds will benefit Downside Up, an organization dedicated to empowering children with disabilities and their families through connection, creativity, and community. While the entire family faces unique challenges, one of Downside Up’s core values is “care for the caretaker,” with women often assuming the role of primary caregiver. Downside Up’s programs—family camps, educational classes, retreat weekends for moms, and other recreational activities—offer opportunities not only for children to learn and thrive but also for women to rest, connect, and build a lasting support network. Funds raised by the Moth Ball® by CityScope® will directly impact women caregivers and their families right here in Chattanooga.
